Ingredients
- 100g Thin sliced beef
- 2 Potato
- 1/2(130g) Onion
- 50g Carrot
- 6 Snow peas
- 1peace ginger
- 300cc Soup Stock
- 2Tbsp Sake
- 2Tbsp Sugar
- 1Tbsp Mirin
- 3Tbsp Soy sauce
Preparation
- Remove strings on seed of snow peas.
- Cut both edge decoratively.
- Add 1tbsp salt to boiled water,add snow peas and remove then after about 30 seconds
- Peel carrot and cut decoratively.
- Peel skin of onion, remove and cut along lines 1cm width.
- Peel ginger and slice.
Cooking
- Heat a saucepan over high heat, then turn down the heat to low, and add cooking oil and slice ginger.
- Spread oil by moving the pan in spiral motion. Keep in the heat low enough for small bobbles to release around the ginger.
- Once ginger is aromatic, turn the heat medium, and onion and spread slice beef on the bottom of the pan and saute.
- Once onion turns transparent, add carrot and potatoes.
- Add seasonings and mix thoroughly.
- Set heat as high, once boiled, turn the heat down to midium.
- Place a cooking paper and cook for about 15 minutes at medium heat.
- Remove a paper after 15 min and pour in half of soy sauce in spiral motion.
- Cook further at medium heat, cooking down the sauce until it is reduced by 1/5, then add the remaining soy sauce.
- Shake the pan to cover evenly with the sauce, take care not to break potatoes.
